I am Airtree’s Finance Manager, which means I oversee GP and fund accounting.
I’ve worked in accounting for 19 years in Korea and Australia, working across several different industries, including finance, F&B, research and insurance. These experiences enabled me to cultivate my own strategic thinking and connect with a wide range of people.
A common thread throughout my career
I’ve always aimed to make reports easy to read. Being an accountant isn’t about passing on numbers; it’s about making those numbers tell a meaningful story.
The advice I’d give to my younger self
Live in the moment. While striving for career goals and financial stability, there were times when I pushed myself relentlessly. I want to remind my younger self to appreciate the joy of the present.
Here’s where you’ll find me on the weekend
On the weekends, I prioritise spending time with my family and reading books while managing picking up and dropping off my kid. I also like to spend my time trying new recipes and occasionally watching Netflix.
